About

Our Story

We stand at a rare, once-in-history point of convergence.

As the Iranian people rise to reclaim their freedom and their authentic identity, and the State of Israel stands as a steadfast shield against tyranny, a new and unbreakable alliance is being woven. "HaMishkan" (The Sanctuary) is the living, physical embodiment of this alliance - not a fleeting political pact, but a covenant between civilizations.

Cultural ambiance

"A cultural embassy in exile" - a living space that connects identity, memory, and future.

A Heart Divided in Two

For many members of the Iranian community in Israel and the diaspora, the heart is divided in two: on one side, a full life in Israel - family and future; on the other, deep roots, a language, and living memories. The Center was founded to give this complex identity a home.

It is the first place in the world where free Iranian culture is not displayed as a lifeless "museum piece", but lives, is celebrated, and is projected back to the world from the only place in the Middle East where it is truly safe: Israel.

The Essence of the Center

  • A lighthouse for millions of Iranians, Iranian communities, and people of the free world who yearn for liberty,
  • A home for a complex Iranian-Israeli identity,
  • A direct human bridge connecting hearts.

A Direct Human Corridor

We operate as a "cultural embassy in exile" - a lighthouse for millions of Iranians who yearn for freedom, and a direct human corridor that bypasses governments and connects hearts.
